A sign saying "Think for Peace!"

At the beginning of the summer I was chatting to a good friend of mine Tim A. Cummins the verbal surgeon. (Check out Tim's Podcasts, they are awesome. ) I was looking for a way of moving things forward toward a direction I felt happy with. Later that day Tim messaged me saying that he had in his head the image of myself, sitting around with a group of people, looking like we were doing meditation, there was also a sign saying " Think for Peace!"

"Do not know if means anything but had to share it with you." said Tim.

Something about this vision resonated with me, but how to unfold it's meaning?

Think for Peace sign in the Hypno Temple

As I was taking the Hypno Temple out and about this summer I decided that the one thing that I could do with Tim's vision was to create the sign. You see, when we have an idea, a goal it is good to look at how we imagine the finished project, then to bring it back to now and look at what parts of that can we create today. This works well with creating a happier life. Ask yourself, what things will make life happier, be realistic, but also allow yourself to dream. When you have the idea of that life ask yourself, "What is it that I am doing in my dream that I can do now?" Maybe you see yourself meditating everyday, so make that thing happen. Anyway, you get the gist, if not message me and we can talk further about making life happier for you.

Back to the sign.

Over the summer I have met lots of wonderful people. They have chatted to me about the Hypno Temple, had treatments and sessions in the Hypno Temple and needless to say have asked me about the sign.

"What is with the sign?" they have asked.

"I don't know :-) " has been the reply. I then have explained how it came to be and then listened to what others have had to say.

It would appear that everyone I have spoke to wants to experience peace. With a lot of people wishing for a peaceful planet. Yet ask people what creates peace for them and suddenly they go quiet, some will describe beautiful places, or listening to music, maybe curled up in the arms of a lover. Yet, no one could say to me how they created peace. Imagine, I asked you to teach me how you experience peace, where would you start?

Suppose you were teaching me about peace, how long would it be before you discover for yourself that it is your body & mind that create the feeling of peace. Do you remember a time that you were somewhere and felt a sense of peace? The outer world presented you with an image of what you think creates peace, and in that moment you remember all the other times of peace that you have experienced and your mind starts the process that leads to that feeling. Now, As soon as you start to notice that peace starts within, you will be able to start to understand the patterns and processes that lead you to that state of peace, after all, peace is a state of emotion and mind, just as laughter, happiness and excitement. As you start to realise this, the way to teach yourself peace in other aspects of your life can start to become apparent, at some level of awareness, you can start to learn how to generate peace. Once you get to the point where you can start to notice little moments of peace in everyday, you can get to the place where you can start to recreate these moments with thought, and learn how to bring that feeling to every aspect of your life. You do not have to start consciously analysing because feelings do not follow logical patterns, instead they follow natural patterns. The thing is we will not create peace in the outer world when we do not know how to create it within. And for each and everyone of us the triggers, stimuli that generate peace for us will be different. I would like you to continue to consider all the ways that you can think for peace. Perhaps you can start to understand how you can create that peace, quickly knowing how you can be helped to bring that peace into your life.

Bring peace into your life

So after a summer of listening and sharing, bringing peace to people through the sessions I hold, the meaning of the sign had unlocked a whole plethera of thoughts.

It would be great to hear from you, what does Think for Peace mean for you. I will be offering a new workshop in the Autumn based upon this years journey with thinking for peace, the workshop will be held in Shrewsbury and also online for those who cannot get to Shropshire. You can also access this gateway to your peace and feeling good through 4 one to one sessions, the Think for Peace program (Details HERE).

Many Blessings
